The role:
· To work under the direction of the Grants Case Manager to ensure all customer enquiries and information requests are processed in timely, accurately and in accordance with policies, processes and procedures
· Communicate with customers to understand and accurately record their queries, and to provide advice on eligibility criteria and procedures relating to a range of grants
· Ensure that all communications (post, telephone, email, face to face), pertaining to a grant enquiry, application or complaint are recorded and communicated to the appropriate Case Officer, Technical Officer and/ or management team for action.
· Use a range of computer packages, including the Grants bespoke Customer Relationship Management System and Microsoft Office suite, to record, manage and retrieve information
· Take accurate minutes of meetings, held both internally and externally, when required.
· Arrange site visits and inspections, recording arrangements and preparing written confirmation of the appointment to the customer
Criteria:
· Be educated to A-Level or equivalent and have at least 1 year’s relevant experience
· Experience in engaging with customers through call handling and other methods
· Previous administration experience
