The role:

·        Assessing customers circumstances by conducting interviews, undertaking visits to customers in their homes/temporary accommodations, collecting information to understand customer needs

·        Make robust legal decisions and fulfill the duties under the Housing Order (NI) 1988

·        Arrange emergency accommodation for customers, this may involve cases of homelessness and vulnerable adults and children.

·        Actively seek accommodation in both the public and private sectors

·        Provide comprehensive assistance on a range of housing matters

·        Managing a caseload ensuring prioritization to reduce the need for emergency/temporary accommodation

Criteria

·        Degree level qualification and at least one year’s experience in a customer support environment. (Those with lower level qualification and higher experience may also be considered)

·        Full UK driving license and access to transport

·        Previous housing experience is desirable
