Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm

Starting at £13.02 per hour

The role:

·        Thoroughly examine and inspect the roadworthiness of and safety of vehicles, applying correct inspection techniques and reporting and findings to the workshop supervisor.

·        Service and prepare vehicles for MOT/PSV in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner

·        Conduct routine repairs and major services on a broad range of grounds maintenance equipment.

·        Apply appropriate diagnostic techniques to determine the cause of defects in vehicles, plant, components and systems, including use of diagnostic computer.

·        Make any recommendations for changes or modifications designed to improve safety

Criteria:

·        Qualified mechanic

·        1 – 5 years experience
