Band 2 Driver

Flexsource NI are recruiting for Band 2 Freight Driver, on a temporary fulltime basis in the Antrim area.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:15pm

Responsibilities:

·        Safely transport pharmacy items, sterile equipment (HSDU), mail, and goods between hospitals and community facilities.

·        Deliver, collect, and relocate office furniture and equipment across Trust sites as required.

·        Drive allocated vehicles lawfully and responsibly, ensuring goods are secure and deliveries are timely and customer-focused.

·        Plan and schedule deliveries to maximise efficiency and effective use of resources.

·        Load and unload vehicles and support portering duties, including internal movement of items within buildings.

·        Carry out daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance, cleaning, and report defects promptly in line with procedures.

·        Accurately complete vehicle logs, delivery records, and required documentation for each journey.

·        Operate tail lifts and specialist equipment following appropriate training and safety guidance.

·        Adhere to Trust policies including health & safety, infection prevention and control, records management, and equality standards.

·        Deliver a courteous, professional service that reflects Trust values of compassion, respect, openness, and excellence.

Requirements:

·        Full UK driving licence and access to a car (Note this must be unrestricted)

·        Experience of Multidrop deliveries
