Flexsource NI are currently recruiting for a Rural Regeneration Officer on a temporary full-time basis, covering the Belfast area, with a starting salary of £14.91 per hour

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

·        Assist in housing led and community regeneration and provide a local enabling role to support delivery of rural and regeneration programmes and outcomes.

·        Assist in the management of research, development, implementation and review of policy for the delivery of rural and regeneration programmes, including but not limited to, the Small Pockets of Deprivation Programme, Heritage in Housing and Village Catalyst.

·        Monitor and evaluate delivery of programmes funded in line with agreed outcomes, ensuring that value for money is achieved, and audit and reporting requirements are met.  

·        Contribute to the preparation of draft programme and project plans and other project documentation such as business cases, risk registers, viability/feasibility assessments, equality screenings, impact assessments, etc. for consideration by senior officers.

·        Manage programme budgets to ensure compliance with audit requirements and value for money, and provide assistance and support to funded Delivery Organisations as required.

Requirements:

·        Degree level qualification within a relevant subject and 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience

·        Experience in: Housing and regeneration projects, research and development of policies in relation to housing and regeneration, monitoring and managing programme budgets and proficiency

·        Possess a full UK Driving License and have access to a form of transport
