Flexsource are currently recruiting a Band 2 Domestic Assistant with Catering Duties on a part time temporary basis in the Antrim area.
Responsibilities:
· Clean and maintain clinical, ward, communal, and sanitary areas to the required hospital and infection control standards.
· Use cleaning equipment and machinery (e.g. vacuum, scrubbers, polishers) safely and correctly.
· Replace consumables such as soaps, hand towels, toilet rolls, and waste sacks; empty bins and safely dispose of waste.
· Help with cleaning of furniture, fittings, windows, walls, bed screens/curtains, glass partitions, etc.
· Assist with patient food and beverage service, including cleaning of ward kitchens where applicable.
· Report maintenance issues, equipment defects or hazards to appropriate supervisor.
· Adhere to Health & Safety, COSHH, and hospital policies at all times.
Requirements:
· Educated to GCSE level including English and Math
· Understanding of cleaning procedures and infection control
· Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital cleaning environment would be advantageous
