Flexsource NI are recruiting on behalf of BSO for a Band 6 Family Practitioner Services (FPS) Operations Manager.
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, on a temporary basis until December 2026
Responsibilities:
· Support the day-to-day management of FPS business and payment operations.
· Lead and develop teams to achieve service and performance targets.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives and service enhancements.
· Monitor data quality, financial controls, and operational performance.
· Manage stakeholder relationships across Health & Social Care organisations.
· Lead projects, business change initiatives, and system developments.
· Produce management reports and performance information.
· Deputise for senior management when required
Criteria:
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Finance or IT plus 2 years’ relevant experience, including 1 year at management level; OR
- 5 years’ relevant experience in Payments, Finance or IT, including 1 year at management level.
You must also demonstrate:
- Experience leading and managing teams in a target-driven environment.
- Strong planning, organisational and workload management skills.
- Experience delivering business improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with internal and external customers to achieve successful outcomes.
- Evidence of delivering measurable service or operational improvements.
Desirable:
· Knowledge of Health & Social Care contractor services relating to GPs, Dentists, Pharmacists, or Optometrists.
