Events and Reservations Assistant, Guinness Open Gate Brewery London

Location: Covent Garden, London

CPL are delighted to announce their partnership with Diageo with exciting new roles for Events and Reservations Assistants for the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in London.

We are looking for experienced hospitality staff with strong communication and organization skills that will thrive in a fast paced customer focused environment.

About us:

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery London (GOGBL) new Guinness neighbourhood in London that will inspire the best in brewing, food, retail and culture. Consisting of 52,000 square feet of heritage buildings and central courtyard in the historic brewing quarter in Covent Garden, GOGBL will become a key growth driver for Guinness, placing the brand in culture, driving relevancy and brand saliency amongst a new generation of drinkers. GB is the biggest Guinness market globally and Guinness is enjoying a period of exceptional growth and cultural magnetism, with the brand growing by around 50% since 2019 to the biggest it has ever been in value, volume and market share in the brand’s 264-year history.

You will be responsible for:

  • Front of house visitor welcome
  • Maximising our capacity while ensuring our guests have a 5-star experience
  • Respond promptly to visitor enquiries. Key customer service skills.
  • Support in event running and management, preparing function sheets
  • Working with the Digital Marketing & Ticketing Executive to ensure that consumer communications on site are clear and ticket sales/capacity is maximised
  • Work closely with the Tour team to ensure the seamless running of the day’s tours and that any consumer enquiries/issues are responded to effectively
  • Supporting the Business Sales Manager with the booking and experience for B2B clients

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or wine/spirits industry
  • Passion for providing 5-star guest experiences, be guided by a customer-first mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient spoken English, additional languages are beneficial.
  • Excellent time management skills and customer service skills.
  • Requires considerable movement around the site to monitor/support activities
  • Experience working with a ticketing system (Secutix desired but not essential)
  • Experience working with a Salesforce (desired but not essential)
  • Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends, holidays

This role is on a temporary contract with part time  hours available with a pay rate of £14.80 per hour.

Guinness Open Gate Brewery is a 7-day operation with varying hours from 7am until 11pm.
