Flexsource NI are recruiting for a Logistics Support Technician in the Bangor Area. This is a full time temporary role, working 36.25 hours per week for up to 6 months, with possible extension, paying £16.68 per hour.
Duties:
· Drive and operate a range of specialist vehicles, LGVs, vans and operational support vehicles across Northern Ireland and ROI.
· Deliver, collect and transport equipment, operational supplies, vehicles and personnel to sites, depots, training exercises and emergency incidents.
· Carry out vehicle inspections, safety checks, refuelling and maintain accurate operational records.
· Test, calibrate, inspect and certify specialist operational equipment in accordance with required standards and procedures.
· Support stock control, asset management and inventory processes using electronic management systems.
· Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to load, unload and move goods safely.
· Assist with the deployment and logistical support of operational response and welfare units during incidents.
· Complete equipment cleaning, decontamination and routine maintenance activities to ensure operational readiness.
· Support secure transportation of sensitive materials, documents and operational assets while maintaining compliance requirements.
· Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota to help maintain regional operational resilience and emergency response capability
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a service delivery or logistics environment involving LGV/HGV driving.
· Full, current Category C (HGV/LGV) driving licence.
· Full, current B+E driving licence.
· Category D1 Driving Licence is desirable
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and management information systems.
· Experience within a technical, engineering or maintenance-related environment.
