Band 2 Catering Assistant

Flexsource NI are recruiting for Band 2 Catering Assistants on a temporary contract

Responsibilities:

·        Assist with the preparation, plating, and service of patient meals and beverages, ensuring dietary requirements are met and meal orders are accurately followed.

·        Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including safe food storage, temperature checks, and compliance with HACCP and infection control guidelines.

·        Clean kitchen equipment, food service areas, and patient tray areas in line with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.

·        Receive, check, and store deliveries appropriately, rotate stock, and dispose of waste correctly following Trust policies.

·        Work as part of the catering team to deliver excellent service to patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a professional and compassionate approach at all times.

Requirements:

·        One years previous experience in a similar role

·        AN NVQ in Food Preparation and Cooking would be advantageous
