Building Maintenance Officer

Flexsource NI are currently recruiting a Building Maintenance Officer on a temporary full time basis covering the Armagh area.

Responsibilities:

·        Performing minor fixes, such as changing fuses, replacing light bulbs, repairing furniture, unblocking drains etc.

·        Conducting cleaning duties and ensuring grounds are free of litter and harmful materials

·        Regularly testing fire and security alarms, ensuring fire fighting equipment is accessible, and maintaining unrestricted access to fire exits

·        Identify and escalate any further maintenance or repair needs as required

·        Support incident response and emergency call outs as required

Requirements:

·        Level 4 qualification in a relevant building/construction subject

·        Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance of non domestic buildings

·        Working knowledge of statutory compliance in buildings

·        Full driving licence and access to transport to facilitate the jobs duties
