Painter & Decorator

Flexsource NI are currently recruiting a Painter on a temporary full time basis in the Portadown area, with a starting salary of £14.35 per hour.

Responsibilities:

·        Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works to domestic and commercial properties, including preparation, priming, undercoating, and finishing to a high standard.

·        Undertake surface preparation such as sanding, filling, washing, stripping old paint, and minor plaster repairs to ensure durable finishes.

·        Work within occupied and void properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all times.

·        Comply with all Health & Safety regulations, including safe use of ladders, access equipment, and hazardous substances (COSHH), while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

·        Accurately complete job sheets and reports, manage materials effectively, and ensure all work meets quality standards and timescales.

Requirements:

·        Successfully complete an apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating

·        2 years of experience in a painting and decorating position

·        Possess a full UK driving licence
