Procurement Advisor

Flexsource NI are currently recruiting a Procurement Advisor on a temporary full time basis covering the Lisburn area with a starting salary of £19.59 per hour

Responsibilities:

With a full job description available upon request, you will:

·        Assist in the delivery of efficient procurement and contract management services, ensuring compliance with public procurement policy and value-for-money principles

·        Oversee supplier performance, lead contract review meetings, manage complaints, and ensure accurate contract data reporting

·        Provide advice on procurement legislation, strategy, and best practices; ensure compliance with governance, legal, and policy frameworks

·        Analyse procurement spend data, contribute to performance monitoring, and provide accurate reports to internal and external stakeholders

·        Maintain procurement records, handle sensitive data in line with GDPR, and support audit and Freedom of Information responses

·        Deliver procurement training, support internal teams with contract queries, and maintain effective working relationships across departments

·        Deputise for the Procurement Manager as needed, contribute to team training and development, and assist with project work and system upgrades

Requirements:

·        A minimum HNC level qualification in a relevant subject

·        2-4 years experience working in a procurement environment for a large complex organisation

·        Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car for business use
