School Bus Driver

Flexsource NI is supporting the Education Authority in their recruitment of a School Bus Driver, on temporary full time basis within the Belfast area.

Responsibilities:

·        Safely transport pupils to and from school in accordance with designated routes and schedules.

·        Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils while boarding, travelling on, and exiting the bus.

·        Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report any faults or defects.

·        Maintain good order and appropriate behaviour on the bus.

·        Comply with all road traffic laws and organisational transport policies.

·        Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately.

·        Communicate effectively with school staff, parents/guardians, and transport coordinators where necessary.

·        Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times in line with the policies of the Education Authority.

Requirements:

·        Valid Category D or D1 driving licence

·        Valid Driver CPC

·        Digital Tachograph

·        Experience driving passenger vehicles
