Flexsource NI are Recruiting for a Band 3 Catering Supervisor on a temporary full time basis in the Craigavon Area
Responsibilities:
· Supervise and lead catering teams across dining rooms, coffee bars and patient meal services.
· Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, portion control and customer service.
· Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergen management and hygiene standards.
· Conduct regular audits and inspections, implementing improvements where required.
· Assist with staff scheduling, rota planning and arranging cover to ensure efficient service delivery.
· Train, mentor and support new and existing team members.
· Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control and waste management procedures.
· Manage stock, consumables and equipment to ensure cost-effective operations.
· Support with staff performance management, attendance monitoring and employee relations matters.
· Build positive working relationships with ward managers, department heads and other stakeholders while handling complaints and queries professionally.
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service, healthcare catering or hospitality environment.
· Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
· Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
· Full UK driving licence and access to transport (reasonable adjustments considered).
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and shifts as part of a rota.
· Level 2 Food Safety in Catering qualification
· Basic IT skills.
· Experience of completing audits and maintaining compliance records.
· Knowledge of specialist dietary requirements and allergen management
